Walk in for free and walk out with new gear and info on the top outdoors programs, services, and resources in the Midwest. You’ll find this and more at the 2024 Gateway Outdoor Expo + Summit, which is scheduled for November 22-24 at the St. Charles Convention Center in St. Charles, Missouri.
Produced by Terrain Magazine and River City Foundation, the family-friendly event will feature 200 exhibitors from the regional outdoor industry, fun kids’ activities, product demos, show specials, food and drinks, and other attractions — including a VIP/Vendor Party and the return of the Gateway Outdoor Summit.
Last held in 2019, the summit is a one-day think tank bringing together leaders from around the region (elected officials, state and county staff, civil engineers, parks personnel, etc.) to discuss opportunities for elevating the outdoor recreation community in Missouri and Southern Illinois. Registration is required for the summit, which is free for those wishing to attend.
“The Gateway Outdoor Expo has become a must-attend event for outdoor and adventure-sports enthusiasts in the Midwest. We love hosting it each year, and personally, I love seeing all of our partners and friends in one place, sharing their love for biking, running, hiking, paddling, and so forth,” said Brad Kovach, publisher of Terrain Magazine and deputy director of River City Foundation.
“I’m also really excited to bring back the Gateway Outdoor Summit,” continued Kovach. “This is our region’s opportunity to celebrate what we’ve achieved in outdoor recreation, imagine what’s possible, and lay the groundwork for building a truly vibrant and inclusive outdoor culture and economy here.”
